Pour donner de la force à ses joueurs, les kops de Liverpool et du celtic Glasgow en ont fait leur hymne. Une expérience unique quand elle chantée en coeur par tout un stade parcouru de frissons. Reprise par à peu près tout le monde, de Elvis (himself) à Ella Fitzgerald, la chanson orginale de Gerry and the Pacemakers (1963) fait merveille. Bon un soir de défaite, elle peut aussi réconforter quelques supporters lyonnais pour qui les mots “quart de finale” signifent désormais “concentrons nous sur le championnat maintenant, c’est bien aussi”…
